Testimonials
Linda Barr, MANOR SCHOOL
“Earth - The Show took the children on an imaginary and visual journey from Earth to outer space. Along the way relevant ideas were introduced and explored, like global warming and recycling, capturing the children’s attention with visually stimulating interactive performance. It made the children think about the future and how they could play a part in shaping our world. It was thought-provoking, fun and relevant to our current times.”

CAMBRIDGE SEND SCHOOL
“The Jack and the Beanstalk workshop has given our Year 7 and 8 students at Cambridge School an engaging opportunity to explore drama, movement, and storytelling through a well-known traditional tale with Gemma.
By working with characters, physical theatre, students build confidence, creativity, and their communication skills. The workshop encourages collaboration and imaginative risk-taking, while supporting key learning outcomes such as, problem-solving and expressive voice, and movement.
Using the familiar story of Jack and the Beanstalk allows students to deepen their understanding of narrative, themes, and character motivation, making learning accessible, enjoyable, and memorable.
Gemma was fantastic leading the workshop and our students really enjoyed the whole experience!”

“Gemma delivered two highly engaging and inclusive sessions at our school for our students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
Each session was a creative blend of art, music, movement, and sensory storytelling, carefully designed to meet the diverse needs of our learners.
Gemma demonstrated a strong ability to adapt her approach, ensuring that all students could access and participate meaningfully in the activities. Her sessions were thoughtfully structured and responsive to the individual needs within the groups, creating a safe and stimulating environment where every student could engage at their own level. Through her creative use of materials and multisensory techniques, Gemma helped our students explore and enjoy art in a way that was both accessible and enriching.

“Gemma was so well resourced and organised, especially taking into consideration the additional needs of our pupils (for example kinaesthetic resources, visual timetable). Her enthusiasm was contagious, and all children took part in the activities, including those who would sometimes be reluctant in these situations. Fifty minutes passed so quickly, and the pupils absolutely loved the session.
