Storytelling Workshops – Key Stages 1 & 2
The Learn Box will introduce your children to the mystical, magical art of storytelling.
Storytelling is used as a medium for passing on knowledge and entertainment in every culture worldwide. Our traditional storytelling workshops focus on improving children’s speaking and listening skills in a fun and engaging way.
Our very own master of tale-telling will transport your children into another world as they listen and get involved with dynamic traditional stories, modern fairy tales, myths and legends from Britain and all over the world.
These workshops are perfect to enhance your whole school topics throughout the year and an excellent addition to World Book Day celebrations.

We can run sessions to engage children with:
Black History Month
Healthy Eating Week
World Book Week
World Day/Global Focus Week
Anti Bullying Week
eSafety Week
If your topic is not listed or you have a specific story to focus on, we can design a totally unique workshop specific to your school's needs.

Music Workshops – Key Stages 1 & 2
We offer sessions led by professional musicians, giving the class a chance to write a fun, educational and catchy song with a performance at the end.
As well as developing topic based vocabulary and ideas, pupils learn about musical terms such as tempo, structure, pitch, duration, texture and musical notations, different genres of music and explore how music is created.
Music is a universal language that embodies one of the highest forms of creativity. We encourage children to sing, create and compose music and develop a love of music; delivering learning in verbal, aural and kinesthetic mediums.
The Chinese philosopher Confucius once said, “Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without”

Humanities Workshops – Key Stages 1 & 2
History and Geography are inextricably linked and our workshops reflect that. We help children understand the geography of our planet and how human ingenuity has worked with geographical features and resources to shape our planet over time.
The workshops are listed under a specific subject area, but each pull strands from both to provide an engaging, cross-curricular learning experience.

History
Our main aim with these workshops is to inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. We provide
interactive workshops that help reinforce your pupils' knowledge and understanding of the past from local and British history to the wider world. Main topics we currently offer are:

With Air Raid Precaution Practice and songs to keep their spirits up, children experience the danger of London, how children were evacuated and explore the need for community spirit and strength.
Changes in Britain from the Stone Age to Iron Age Britain
